Basic Function: We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Agronomist Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will combine your expertise in agronomy with sales skills to promote and sell a range of agricultural products, including feed, seed, fertilizers, and other crop-related inputs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide field-based consultations to farmers and growers, offering technical advice on crop management, seed selection, fertilizer application, and other agricultural practices. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and help them improve their crop productivity. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide expert agronomic advice to farmers and growers on crop management, including seed selection, soil health, fertilizer application, and pest management. • Promote and sell a variety of agricultural products, such as feed, seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products. • Conduct field visits to assess crop health, monitor soil conditions, and provide tailored recommendations for improving crop yields. • Educate on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in crop management, helping implement effective strategies for sustainable farming. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues with crops, seed, fertilizer, or other agricultural products. • Prepare and deliver presentations on the benefits and usage of the products being sold. • Stay updated with industry developments, crop research, and advancements in agricultural technology to provide the best possible advice to clients. An employee shall not be employed more than eight (8) hours per workday or work in excess of forty (40) hours per workweek unless the employee receives one and one-half (1½) times such employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked over eight (8) hours in any workday or more than forty (40) hours in any workweek and double the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked over twelve (12) hours in any one workday.
