  Employees will work on employer owned/operated farms, performing general repair and maintenance tasks to hog facilities. Employees will be responsible for the daily care of hogs and will be required to clean and disinfect buildings/confinements. Loading and unloading livestock on a limited basis as needed to conduct the work and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the animals. Workers will be expected to maintain and assist with livestock feeding systems, ensuring livestock are fed and watered according to respective protocols. Workers will frequently monitor equipment to make sure feed and water dispensers are not plugged, empty, or dirty. Clean-up site. Workers on this application will be driving tractors pulling large manure tanks on farms. Duties will include applying manure to fields by injecting it into the ground in the spring and fall. Tanks and tractors are being used to do this job. Monitoring pig health while pumping and agitating manure. Workers are responsible for preparing, maintaining, cleaning, and operating all machinery and equipment used for the handling of the manure. Washing and disinfecting at the facilities where manure is removed may also be completed. The job requires working around livestock and the strong smell of manure.
