  Operate soil mixing equipment and prepare and plant unrooted cuttings and plugs for fall annuals, fall perennials, spring annuals, spring perennials, and spring vegetable plants; Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, backhoes, and bobtail trucks to pull customer orders from the greenhouse and transport from one location to another; Organize and pull, wrap, and pack fall annuals and perennials and later spring annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants; Perform daily repairs, cleaning, and maintenance to equipment, grounds, buildings, watering systems: Repair and prep all greenhouse structures and equipment (frames, doors, roofs, heaters, etc.) to prepare for winter weather and spring crops; Drive pickup to obtain parts and supplies. Typical workday includes a 1-hour lunch break. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on Sabbath; Three (3) months experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain drivers license within 30 days of hire. May be required to take drug test after hire at no cost to worker. Positive test or refusal to take is grounds for immediate termination.
