• Offer description:

  Under direction of supervisor, worker will cut grass, do weeding, prune trees and repair picking buckets also pick fresh fruit & vegetables: such as apples, pears, pumpkins, tomatoes & squash for fresh market and or processing. Productivity must be 80 bu boxes of fresh market apples per day. All fruit to be handled with care to avoid bruising. Fruit injured by bruising, not to exceed 4%. Workers may be instructed to selectively pick mature fruit according to size, color & other USDA standards. Worker required to handle ladders up to 24 long weighing about 2 lbs per foot. Must be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis throughout the work day. Due to health & safety concerns on our farm workers must understand basic instruction in English. Workers referred as a result of this order must have a minimum of three months of verifiable experience in performing the tasks described in this order.
