The job specifications involve skilled farm labor for the purpose of preparing for and performing duties of potato harvesting. Conducts pre-operation inspections and performs basic service/maintenance tasks Operate potato harvesting equipment, including tractors, harvesters, wind rowers, crop carts, pilers, forklifts, bobcat and washline equipment Handle potatoes in a manner so they are not damaged Removal and clean up of harvest debris Perform routine and basic repair work on farm equipment in field Calibrate equipment as necessary Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures Perform general farm work as needed Full time supervision is provided and all tools are provided at no cost. Workers must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and work in extreme temperatures. Lifting objects up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, and stooping regularly will be required.
