Harvester: The employee will harvest various hand-harvested crops in the field using knives, or other tools as provided. Depending on the crop, the employee will be assigned one 20-pound tub, one 15-gallon bucket, or two 5-gallon buckets, at the start of the harvest. The employee will harvest individual plants by hand or with hand tools and place the harvested product into the assigned container(s). The employee will either dump the contents of the container or hand it to a designated dumper, then return to the field to resume harvesting. This process will be repeated throughout the workday. Depending on the crop and conditions, an employee may harvest and transport between 50 to 150 or more buckets per day.
