.Farm Laborer will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop and livestock production, maintenance, and repair of farm equipment and facilities. *Key duties:* 1. *Crop Production*: Plant and harvest crops, including legumes, forage, and grains. 2. *Equipment Maintenance*: Operate, maintain, and repair farm equipment, such as tractors, plows, and harvesters. 3. *Farm Maintenance*: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings, fences, and other structures. 4. *Pest Management*: Monitor for pests and diseases, and assist with integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. 5. *Record Keeping*: Assist with maintaining accurate records of crop yields, livestock production, and farm operations. 6. *Teamwork*: Collaborate with other farm workers to ensure efficient and safe operation of the farm. *Requirements:* 1. *Physical Ability*: Ability to lift 100 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform physically demanding tasks. 2. *Mechanical Aptitude*: Basic knowledge of farm equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. Worker will be required to drive and must be able to obtain a drivers' license. 3. *Attention to Detail*: Ability to follow instructions, monitor crop and equipment condition, and detect potential problems. 4. *Communication Skills*: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other farm personnel. 5. *Reliability*: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. *Working Conditions:* 1. *Outdoor Work*: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and sun. 2. *Physical Hazards*: Exposure to physical hazards, such as loud noises, vibrations, and equipment operation The job entails working around farm machinery, a variety of farm animals as well as exposure to predators and snakes. Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
