  Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Attend to animals produced for animal products such as meat;. Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to swath, rake, bale, store, distribute hay (feed) to animals; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Use shovels and hand tools to dig trenches to control water flow; Operate power pole saw, chain saw to cut trees; Unload from trailer; Work will be performed in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, rain, humidity, snow.
