Workers will operate various farm equipment and vehicles such as potato windrower, potato harvester, tractors, planters, planter fillers and cultivating machinery. Duties include driving tractor and pulling tillage tools to prepare the fields for planting. Workers will also drive straight trucks with potatoes from the field to the packinghouse. They will be responsible for maintaining equipment. Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. In order to perform this kind of work, the worker must be in possession of the requisite physical strength, working quickly and skillfully. The employer will provide specific instructions in the proper way to perform the job duties. Thereafter, the worker will be expected to perform the task with diligence as instructed, taking care not to damage machinery or equipment. Workers will be expected to maintain pace and to perform the work in a manner specified by the employer. Workers must also be able to adapt to job changes as season progresses. Workers with a clean driving record and able to obtain an insurable driver's license may drive company vehicles.
