  We grow corn, wheat, soybeans, pecans, sod grass, and hay. We need seasonal workers to assist with planting and harvesting. Job duties will include: preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; installing, maintaining, and repairing pivot irrigation systems; operating equipment to harvest crops; completing maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment; inspecting, adjusting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment. Helping with pruning pecan trees in the pecan orchard is also required. Experience in farm plated trucking driving, and hauling grain from harvest to a local elevator for harvesting. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm plated trucking. No commercial trucking is required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion., Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
