4 farm workers needed for temporary, full-time employment (40+ hours per week). Duties include: Preparing the fields for planting, planting, harvesting crops, repairing fences, removing shrub growth from fence lines and fields, running farm equipment, such as tractors, planters and harvesters, as well as farm trucks and low boys and general maintenance of equipment, tools buildings, shops, and livestock pens. Hand shoveling in the smaller livestock stalls may be required. The employer will provide to workers at no charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Workdays: are 5 to 6 days per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm (subject to weather conditions). Work on Sundays may be required. No overtime is available. Workers are needed May 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Workers will be paid $19.65 per hr. On-the-job training is available if needed. The employer will provide work equal to at least three-fourths of the weekdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will use a single workweek as a standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid every two weeks. Employer will make all deductions from the workers' paycheck as required by law. Employer will reimburse H-2A workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for a workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Employer will provide housing at no cost to the H-2A workers and those workers in corresponding employment who are not reasonably able to return to their residence within the same day, located at the farm.
