  Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Additional Requirements: Calumet Manure Management injects manure from dairy lagoons into the fields of farmers. You will need to drive tractor in field to move the hose (umbilical cord) that is attached to a plow tractor. You will sit in tractors at the lagoon's edge and move the agitation equipment. Run side by side along drag hose to booster pumps to make sure line is secure and pumps are running smoothly.
