  Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of Organic cherries, apples, pears, peaches, nectarines and various vegetables and melons. The majority of the work activities during the overall contract period, however, will be related to assisting with general farm equipment maintenance. The job duties may include the following responsibilities: adjust, repair and service farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm implements; notify shop supervisor when machinery malfunctions; perform regular maintenance of farm equipment such as oil and filter changes: perform minor mechanical adjustments, repairs, and lubrication on farm machinery; repair or replace defective parts using hand tools such as grinders, saws, drill presses, hand drills, pressure washers, painting tools, and tire repair tools; may assist in the repair of axles; inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear and report findings to supervisor; operate vehicle, or farm equipment in the course of performing duties; align, set up, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment; perform general cleanup of shop areas, worksites and farm areas or farm equipment; clean equipment; paint/repair/maintain farm structures/grounds.
